In this position, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise with park guests during meet-and-greet style demonstrations. Volunteers are expected to be knowledgeable about the skillset they are demonstrating and able to answer questions.
Set up begins at 12:30pm with demonstrations running continuously from 1-3pm.
August's HSFH program is handwashing laundry- we'll be bringing out the lye soap, washboard, and galvanized washtub. If you don't mind rolling your sleeves up, getting a little wet, and are comfortable explaining the process to guests as you work, this might be a great fit for you!
